Jimmy Butler continues to go scorched earth on the Miami Heat in his attempts to be traded from the organization.
The Miami Heat have suspended Jimmy Butler for seven games and say they will seek to trade him. The Heat say the suspension was for “conduct detrimental to the team over the course of the season and particularly the last several weeks.
On Thursday night, the Indiana Pacers dominated the Miami Heat, winning 128-115. Tyrese Haliburton scored 33 points to go with 15 assists, and the Pacers held Jimmy Butler to nine points. The six-time All-Star did not play in the fourth quarter.
The Indiana Pacers were expected to sit well above .500 coming off a season where they reached the Eastern Conference Finals. Instead, the Pacers are the No. 8 seed in the East with a record of 18-18.

Butler played 27 minutes during Thursday's matchup against Indiana, scoring nine points on just six shots. He also finished a team-worst minus-27. Butler made his stance on a trade very transparent after the loss.
