Joel Klatt is willing to take on the role as the college football's commissioner, proposing several changes in his first week on the job.

Over the years, several notable non-band members were given the honor to dot the "i," including comedian Bob Hope, former Buckeyes head coach Woody Hayes, golfer Jack Nicklaus and two-time Heisman Trophy winner and alumnus Archie Griffin.

Joel Klatt tried his hand at fixing the college football calendar during the latest episode of his podcast, and he has a fascinating idea for the Army–Navy Game. Evidently, Klatt believes the College Football Playoff’s effect on the bowl schedule has taken away some of the pomp and circumstance from the legendary battle.

Despite their lack of star power or power conference status, each year the Army Black Knights and Navy Midshipmen come together to play what is arguably the most noteworthy rivalry game of the college football season.

In fact, Fox Sports' Joel Klatt asserted on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" that the Buckeyes possess the best defense in college football. "They have the best defense in college football," Klatt said. "They have got the best front seven in college football. They've got the best secondary in college football. That's tough to overcome."

Army-Navy game takes place at the end of each college football season but Joel Klatt wants that to change. Klatt thinks the annual game should be played at the beginning of the season as a way to get it going.
