A hiker fell to his death inside of Zion National Park near Canyon Overlook Trail over the weekend, according to officials.

St. George • A hiker who died over the weekend after a possible fall on Zion National Park’s Canyon Overlook Trail has been identified as Cesar Herrera-Ruiz, a 37-year-old Canadian national, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Two hikers recently have been found dead in national parks in Tennessee and Utah.
