The winners and losers from Day 3 of the 2025 College World Series in Omaha included mid-majors, poor defense and Paul Skenes.
The Arizona Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals meet up in Omaha on Sunday with their NCAA Men’s College World Series hopes on the line in the first elimination game of the tournament. Both teams had high hopes coming into the Men’s College World Series, but found themselves on the losing end of a couple of tough battles.
OMAHA, Neb. — The Oregon State Beavers play the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers on Sunday in the winners’ bracket of the Men’s College World Series at Charles Schwab Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. PT. in a game that will air live on ESPN2.
The second day of the 2025 College World Series saw the four teams in Bracket 2 take their first step towards advancing to the Finals. This came after Coastal Carolina and Oregon State took a major step forward on opening day while Arizona and Louisville were sent to the brink of elimination.
