Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon was presented the MBE honor from Prince William at Windsor Castle for his contribution to music and charity.

The award, presented by William, Prince of Wales, recognizes Le Bon's lasting influence on music as well as his dedication to charitable causes.

The ‘death’ of the band has been much discussed over the past couple of months, with statistics showing that it’s now solo artists who dominate the upper echelons of the sales and streaming charts (not to mention the lion’s share of the cultural conversation).

Singer-songwriter Rebecca Ferguson and ex-footballer Graeme Souness will also be recognised at the investiture ceremony.
