President Donald Trump's decision to freeze $175 million in federal funding for the University of Pennsylvania will halt potentially life-saving research at his alma mater, Penn President J. Larry Jameson said.

Jameson wrote in the March 25 email that researchers across seven of Penn’s schools were notified that their federally contracted research was halted.
