Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and others will meet with their Chinese counterparts in London on Monday for renewed trade talks, President Donald Trump said.

U.S. President Trump on Friday said three of his cabinet officials will meet with representatives of China in London on June 9 to discuss a trade deal.

Mr. Trump said in a post on Truth Social that his call with Xi Jinping, China’s top leader, had focused entirely on the trade relationship between the nations, which has soured in recent months in a dispute over the export of critical minerals used in an array of industries.
