Clive Revill, the original actor who brought Emperor Palpatine to life in The Empire Strikes Back, has passed away at the age of 94 years old.

The veteran actor, recognized for voicing “The Empire Strikes Back” sequel, died at a care facility in Sherman Oaks, Calif., after a battle with dementia.
