Authorities have confirmed the recovery of the body of a man who went missing following a hit-and-run incident in Rockdale County.

The victim's mother told authorities that her son suffered from a traumatic brain injury from a previous accident.

Authorities said Shaquel Liburd left his car after wrecking it on Saturday, and that his mother told them he had a traumatic brain injury from a prior accident.
