(Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Saturday that Ukraine expected a strong response from Western countries to the nearly daily Russian drone attacks on its territory.
Another 21 people are injured, as a restaurant and several buildings are set ablaze in the city, local officials say.
Ukraine’s General Staff denounced the “deliberate, targeted shelling” of the military hospital. Rescuers searched through the rubble left behind in the attacks.
Hungary is a member of NATO and the EU, but its alignment with Russia on energy policy and frequent criticism of Ukraine have set it apart from most Western allies.
