The price of AMC Stubs A-List is about to go up—but the price per movie is going down. The national theater chain announced that it will be bumping up the monthly price of its subscription-based movie-going service from $24.

AMC Theaters will increase the price of its Stubs A-List monthly membership. This A-List price hike will come with one extra weekly movie.

Moviegoers who are on the AMC Stubs A-List will soon be able to see four movies per week instead of the current three, the theater chain announced on Thursday. Additionally, starting May 7, the age requirement for the movie benefits will also be lowered from 16 to 13 years old.

AMC Theatres is hiking the price of Stubs A-List, the cinema chain’s monthly movie subscription membership. But film fanatics are getting a greater value for their money, too. They’ll receive an additional weekly reservation, allowing them to see up to four movies instead of the current allotment of three per week.

Following AMC’s recent changes to its Stubs program — a set of perks that actually seemed like a solid way to get people to sign up — the theater chain is now planning to raise the subscription service’s prices.

AMC is raising prices for its A-List membership starting on May 7, but subscribers will also get to see an extra movie per week under the plan.

The mega cinema chain also allows avid moviegoers to see four films a week, up from three as part of its movie ticket rewards program.

The movie theater opened in 1989 as the Metro, park of the Landmark chain. Sundance Cinemas bought the theater in 2012, and it became an AMC in 2017.
