Rochester native Alia Cusolito, a trans LGBTQ advocate, is bracing for a fight after President Trump issued an anti-trans executive order.

In his inaugural address at the US Capitol, Trump declared, “As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female.” The announcement received an immediate backlash among LGBTQ advocates.

Firefighters are battling a blaze in a home in Woburn, Massachusetts, on Tuesday afternoon. The fire was reported shortly after 2 p.m. on Union Street. One of the eight people who lives inside the home told NBC10 Boston off camera that the fire started while work was being done to the electrical system in the bathroom.
