Kansas City man charged in fatal October shooting
A Kansas City man has been charged with multiple felonies following a fatal shooting in October near East 17th Street and Cambridge Avenue.

Police responded to the shooting around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, finding two men with gunshot wounds near a Northland home. One was pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon, while the other was critically injured.
Homicide: Police ID man found dead in Kansas City apartment
When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with the calling party who advised someone was shot inside. Officers entered the residence and located a man, later identified as Benson, suffering from apparent, gunshot trauma and unresponsive. EMS personnel responded to the scene and declared him deceased.
