Jordan Spieth returns to Quail Hollow for the PGA Championship under the same circumstances he faced eight years ago.

As we saw by Rory McIlroy's emotional reaction to winning the Masters and completing the career Grand Slam, the guy was under an insane amount of pressure to finally get the job done. McIlroy admitted he felt "pure relief" after winning the playoff against Justin Rose to make (more) golf history.

Spieth's last major title came in 2017 and he has not won on the PGA Tour since 2022, but he carded a closing 62 in the recent CJ Byron Nelson to finish fourth, albeit 12 shots behind runaway winner and world number one Scottie Scheffler.
