A “bloodthirsty” couple who admitted to dismembering and killing a woman before dumping her body in a park have been jailed.

A double killer who murdered a woman and dumped her dismembered body in a south London park will spend the rest of his life in jail. Steven Sansom was out of prison on licence for another murder when he killed Sarah Mayhew, 38, and dumped her remains in Rowdown Fields, New Addington, last spring.

A "bloodthirsty" couple planned and conducted the murder of a 38-year-old woman and then dismembered her body, a court has heard. Steven Sansom, 45, from Sutton, and Gemma Watts, 49, from Croydon, have both pleaded guilty to murdering Sarah Mayhew last year and perverting the course of justice.
