Indiana Fever star guard Sophie Cunningham has unfortunately been ruled out for the rest of the 2025 WNBA season after suffering a knee injury.
Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham called "bulls--t" on the idea that the team or WNBA is being purposefully deceptive over the injury to star Caitlin Clark.
"I'm officially 3-for-3 on being fined by the WNBA," Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said on latest episode of her Show Me Something podcast.
Cunningham was injured in the second quarter when Sun guard Bria Hartley fell and made contact with her leg as she fell to the court after firing off a pass in the paint. Cunningham immediately grabbed her leg and fell to the court while screaming in pain before having to be helped to the back by the trainers.
In what is becoming a weekly occurrence, Sophie Cunningham has been fined by the WNBA for publicly criticizing the officials.
