Nearly 30,000 pounds of beef snack sticks have been recalled by the manufacturer out of fear they may be contaminated with metal. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection service recently announced the recall which included 29,541 pounds of ready-to-eat beef sticks.

The snack sticks included in the recall were packaged at a single facility in Idaho from Jan. 16 through Jan. 23, the company said.

Nearly 30,000 pounds of Chomps beef sticks have been recalled because they may be contaminated with pieces of metal, according to an announcement from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
