"Ballerina," a spinoff in the "John Wick" universe, opened behind expectations and below "Lilo & Stitch" on box office charts.

Ana de Armas' Ballerina registered the biggest opening weekend for Lionsgate since November 2023, when The Hunger Games prequel was released.
