UFC lightweight legend Dustin Poirier is preparing to retire after one final fight. There’s been much talk about who his opponent should be — Justin Gaethje, Michael Chandler, Max Holloway and even a tournament featuring all of the above are just some of the ideas floating around in the MMA world.

Pimblett (22-3 MMA, 6-0 UFC), who meets Michael Chandler in the UFC 314 co-main event April 12 in Miami ( ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPN/Disney+, ESPN+), thinks Poirier (30-8 MMA, 22-7 UFC) still has a lot of fight left in him.

The emerging UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett openly criticizes when he has to and conversely, he openly appreciates or points out the positives when the time is right. He feels the UFC veteran Dustin Poirier shouldn’t retire after his next fight.
