For the fifth time in the last 11 playings of the Masters, Tiger Woods is sitting on the sidelines. The five-time green jacket winner did not tee it up in the 89th Masters this week at Augusta National as he continues to recover from a ruptured Achilles, an injury he announced during the week of The Players Championship.

Tiger Woods will be missing this tournament for the fifth time in his career after suffering an abrupt Achilles injury in March. The five-time Masters champion last won the tournament in 2019, but hasn't finished higher than 38th place since then.
