Texas A&M softball starts its campaign for Oklahoma City with a Thursday doubleheader against Utah State and Purdue. Last season, the Aggies went 44-15 and made it to the Austin Super Regionals, but lost 6-3 in Game 3 to the Texas Longhorns.

The Aggies will play six games in four days against Purdue, Villanova, Utah State, ACU, and No. 19 Baylor. They have one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country which will prepare them for the gauntlet that is the SEC.

Texas A&M leads the way with 10 of the 16 first-place votes and six Aggies across both All-SEC teams. There is little doubt that TAMU will field one of the best offensive teams in the nation, and settling on a week-to-week batting order will be a good problem to have.
