Super Rugby is set to enter a new era with preparations underway for the inaugural Pacific season. This will see the introduction of Moana Pasifika and Fijian Drua as part of the 12-team competition.

Super Rugby Pacific 2022 began on February 18 with a match between the NSW Waratahs and Fijian Drua. The regular season is scheduled to end on May 29 2022 with the final to be played on June 18 2022.
