After crews were able to contain the leak, now environmental groups are working to learn if there was any damage done.

Crews worked Tuesday to clean what they could of a hydraulic oil spill that happened at the Braeburn Alloy Steel Plant Monday

Water rescue crews and first responders were on the scene Monday following an oil spill at a plant in Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County. Westmoreland County dispatch confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that officials were on the scene at the Braeburn Alloy Steel Mill along Braeburn Road before 4 p.

While officials are unsure how much fluid spilled into the Allegheny River in Lower Burrell, they have said that it is contained.
