Providence and dozens of doctors at a hospital in Portland, Oregon, have reached a tentative agreement after 27 days of strike

Hospitalists and palliative care physicians at Providence’s largest hospital in Oregon reached a tentative contract agreement with the health system late Wednesday, a deal that could end the largest health care strike in state history if workers sign off.

St. Vincent hospitalists secured a tentative agreement with Providence late Wednesday night. A ratification vote is set for Feb. 6-7.
