Federal lands in western North Carolina are set to receive more than $30 million in emergency funding for infrastructure repairs in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

The U.S. Department of Transportation sent $43 million in emergency relief funding to National Forests damaged by Hurricane Helene, including the Blue Ridge Parkway.
