In a sad announcement that has shaken the sports community, Ronald Powell, former linebacker for the New Orleans Saints and a once top-ranked football recruit, passed away at 32.

Purdue has added another player from UNLV: LB Mani Powell, who will have one year of eligibility. He is the third LB to commit from the portal, joining Arkansas LBs Alex Sanford and Carson Dean.
