At least for now, the dust has settled on the Seattle Seahawks' major offensive roster shakeup. Quarterback Geno Smith and wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are out. Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are in.

Breer is reporting that Metcalf wanted a contract extension immediately. The Seahawks typically conduct such business later in the summer, around training camp and the preseason. The Steelers awarded Metcalf with a five-year, $150 million extension upon his arrival.
