BEREA, Ohio — Deshaun Watson has had a setback in his recovery from ruptured Achilles surgery that will delay his return, Browns GM Andrew Berry revealed Monday. Berry said it’s too early to determine if Watson will need another surgery. The first procedure took place Oct. 25 with Dr. Bob Anderson in North Carolina.

Deshaun Watson will remain on the books for the Browns in 2025, but it remains to be seen when he will be healthy enough to play. The much-maligned quarterback’s recovery from an Achilles tear has taken an unwanted turn.
