Bobby Whitlock, who co-founded the blues rock band Derek and the Dominos, has died. He was 77. Whitlock’s manager, Carol Kaye, told TMZ he died Sunday morning at 1:20 a.m. “after a brief illness.” She told Variety that Whitlock had cancer. The musician passed away at home in Texas while surrounded by his family, Kaye confirmed.
