Marvel has announced more than two dozen members of the Avengers: Doomsdaycast. And yet out of all those names, the one we were most confident would be in there — Tom Holland’s Spider-Man — was MIA. So where is Spider-Man?

The 28-year-old is currently filming Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. With Avengers: Doomsday now in production, Holland cannot be in two places at once. Daniel Richtman reported that a stunt double will film some of Holland’s scenes as he finishes work on The Odyssey.

One of the biggest moments of the Multiverse Saga so far, however, was the return of both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home. There wasn't a single person entering cinemas that didn't expect to see them rock up, but that didn't dampen the goosebumps.
