Macworld Apple last updated the iPad Air with an M2 processor in 2024, more than two years after the launch of the M1 model. Apple didn’t change much, though it did introduce a larger 13-inch model for the first time.

The M2 iPad Air’s original price point of $599 placed it squarely in the middle of the tablet pricing range, but Amazon’s 17% off deal running right now has knocked a C-note off of that number, making the M2 iPad Air a great deal at just $499.
