Pope Francis, who has been unable to appear in public for several weeks due to ill health, released a prayer on Sunday thanking hospital staff for his care.

Despite the health concerns, Pope Francis’ social media still delivered its #GospelOfTheDay Sunday, which was accompanied by a note from His Holiness thanking well-wishers for their prayers.

The public is invited for a Blue Sunday Prayer Service at 3 p.m. April 27 at Catholic Charities, 41315 North Ridge Road in Elyria, and Blessing House, 41295 North Ridge Road in Elyria.
