NFL Draft could very well be the turning point for the Indianapolis Colts. As quarterback Anthony Richardson heads into his third season, the franchise is toeing the line between fully unleashing their high-upside signal-caller and bracing for potential setbacks.

While Colts general manager Chris Ballard isn’t known for dishing out big paydays to outside free agents like he did this time around, his ability to maximize draft capital has always been his saving grace.

This, of course, is a top need for the Colts. Not only do they need depth, but as GM Chris Ballard said after the season, a greater pass-catching presence is needed at tight end as well. This was a unit last season where the four players on the 53-man roster combined for just 467 receiving yards.
