Just minutes after he officially took office on Monday afternoon, January 13, Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe put six executive orders into effect. These orders become state law immediately and show follow-through on a campaign promise.

Mike Kehoe was inaugurated as Missouri’s 58th governor Monday at the state capital. Kehoe, a husband and father of four, focused on four priorities during his inauguration speech: public safety, economic development, agriculture, and education.

Mike Kehoe was sworn in Monday as the 58th governor of Missouri. “I will always remember and honor the solemn oath I just took,” he said on the podium.
