SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PENNSYLVANIA —Two international squads got the 2025 Little League World Series underway on Wednesday afternoon, as Venezuela blanked Puerto Rico, 5-0, in a marquee opening matchup between two perennial international baseball powers.

It took a lot for Venezuela to the Little League World Series, but on Wednesday it made the playing baseball part look easy.

The 2025 Little League World Series kicks off Wednesday afternoon in Williamsport, Pennsylvania with both International and United States brackets seeing their first play of the tournament.

The Little League World Series begins Wednesday with four games across the U.S. and international brackets. Games will be presented across ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+. Viewers can also watch with Fubo, which offers a free trial for new users.
