IndyCar drivers Josef Newgarden and Louis Foster were involved in a terrifying crash at World Wide Technology Raceway on Sunday night outside of St. Louis.

The No. 2 Team Penske Chevrolet went airborne and flipped over, flames licking inside the cockpit. But the aeroscreen did its job protecting Newgarden, and the AMR IndyCar Safety Team immediately arrived at the scene and flipped the car upright, allowing Newgarden to exit on his own power; Foster also climbed from his car on his own.
