Algeria boxer Imane Khelif, who found herself in the middle of a bitter divide about gender in sports during the Paris Olympics, has denounced “false and offensive” accusations from the International Boxing Association.

Imane Khelif accuses the International Boxing Assocation of spreading "baseless lies and misinformation" after it cited Donald Trump's executive order around transgender athletes in legal action against the IOC.

Imane Khelif has pledged to continue fighting in the women’s category despite a decision by the International Boxing Association to file criminal complaints over the Algerian’s participation in last summer’s Paris Olympics.
