As Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports, the Astros are in on Nolan Arenado, Carlos Correa, and Eugenio Suarez, all to replace Paredes. Those trade rumors are bad news for Isaac Paredes, the team's third baseman who's out with a hamstring injury.

The latest injury was to resurgent third baseman Isaac Paredes, who the Astros acquired in the deal that sent Kyle Tucker to Chicago. Paredes, whose hamstring injury is reportedly higher in severity than was projected, joined Jeremy Pena, Zach Dezenzo, Jake Meyers and Yordan Alvarez as top Astros hitters to hit the injured list.

With a four-game cushion on the Seattle Mariners atop the AL West, it's widely expected that the Astros will be buyers leading up to Thursday's trade deadline at 6 p.m. ET.
