Lane Kiffin briefly paused Gator Bowl prep Thursday to respond to an interesting proposition from a fan on X. Hours before kickoff against Duke, X user Sgt Blackout floated a bet to the Ole Miss coach that involved his daughter.

The Ole Miss Rebels blew out the Duke Blue Devils 52-20 in the Gator Bowl on Jan. 2. Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin, who felt snubbed by the College Football Playoff committee, wanted send a strong message during their final game of the season.

Rebels coach Lane Kiffin wasn’t totally thrilled with his quarterback, Jaxson Dart, after the 52-20 romp. Dart checked to a pass play with the game out of hand and his last pass as a Rebel turned into an unnneeded 69-yard touchdown. After the game, Kiffin was asked about his quarterback.
