The wildfires at Table Rock State Park have closed all trail systems, campgrounds, plus roads and highways near the fires.

Light rain offered some relief to South Korean authorities tackling the country's worst wildfires on record, with exhausted firefighters making another push on Friday to contain blazes stretching 70 km (44 miles).

By Minwoo Park and Daewoung Kim ANDONG, South Korea (Reuters) -Wildfires raging in South Korea doubled in size on Thursday from a day earlier, as authorities called the blazes the country's worst natural fire disaster with at least 28 people killed and historic temples incinerated.

The Baltimore County Fire Department deployed crews to extinguish a two-acre brush fire in White Hall Thursday afternoon, the area’s second brush fire in as many days.

The fire is covering about 80 acres and is 25% contained, according to a 9:10 p.m. post to the Tennessee Department of Agriculture's wildfire information.

Baltimore County Fire Department crews have responded to a brush fire in the 13900 block of York Road. The fire currently spans two to three acres and involves a small shed and a vacant dwelling. Firefighters are working to contain and extinguish the flames.
