More than half a billion dollars in grant money is on the line at Brown University as the Trump administration reviews the Ivy League university’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies and its response to antisemitism,

The Trump administration plans to announce a freeze on $510 million worth of federal funding, a White House official told The Herald. This makes Brown the fifth Ivy League school to face cuts. The $510 million exceeds the $400 million in funding cut at Columbia in early March.

The three-judge federal appellate court panel ruled the blanket pause would cause irreparable harm to the states in the litigation.
