Diego Lopes is taking his UFC 314 loss in stride. On Sunday, Lopes (27-7 MMA, 6-2 UFC) released a statement on his unanimous decision loss Saturday to Alexander Volkanovski (26-5 MMA, 13-4 UFC) in the promotion’s vacant featherweight title fight main event at Kaseya Center in Miami.

Volkanovski wins by unanimous decision in his 10th straight title fight, snapping a two-bout losing streak and ending Lopes’ five-fight win run at UFC 314 in Miami.

Alexander Volkanovski is UFC featherweight champion once again. Volkanovski defeated Diego Lopes by unanimous decision in the main event of UFC 314 to capture the vacant title.
