A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after two men were fatally shot at a 7-Eleven near Denver’s Park Hill and Clayton neighborhoods, police said Monday. That suspect, Fabian Vasquez, 19, is being held on suspicion of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Police said their investigation found Vasquez shot the two victims. He was taken to a hospital due to a bite wound from a police dog during his arrest and for prolonged exposure to the cold.
