NEW YORK (AP) — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is suing NBC Universal over a documentary that he says falsely accuses him of being a serial murderer who had sex with underage girls as he awaits trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

The lawsuit targets statements from various subjects implying that the rap mogul murdered multiple people in his orbit and that he had sex with minors.

"In making and broadcasting these falsehoods, among others, (the companies) seek only to capitalize on the public's appetite for scandal without any regard for the truth and at the expense of Mr. Combs's right to a fair trial.

Sean Combs, the music mogul facing federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges, sued NBCUniversal and its streaming service Peacock on Wednesday, accusing them of airing a documentary that “shamelessly advances conspiracy theories” about him.

Sean Combs has filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against NBC and Peacock over its recently aired documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, claiming the program promoted conspiracy theories and “maliciously advanc [ed] the unhinged narrative that Mr. Combs is a serial killer.”

Peacock premiered a documentary about the many alleged crimes of Sean “Diddy” Combs titled Diddy: Rise Of A Bad Boy. Now Combs, who remains in custody awaiting trial, has sued NBC and Peacock for defamation to the tune of $100 million.
