The Sept. 6 incident in Mississauga was captured on video and widely shared on social media, which led to the identification and arrest of the suspect, police say.

Video released by police shows the woman ringing the doorbell of a home, where she greets the owner, saying, “Hello, I’m here for the Porsche.” She claims to be waiting for her “dad” and asks to inspect the vehicle.

An 18-year-old Brampton, Ontario woman who allegedly stole a Porsche and then ran over its owner was arrested on Thursday.
