A missile launched from Yemen by the Iran-backed Houthis struck near Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport on Sunday, briefly grounding flights, halting train service and forcing the closure of access roads covered in debris.

Ben Gurion International Airport, Israel's main travel hub, was hit Sunday with a Houthi missile that bypassed Israeli and American defense systems.

Lufthansa group, Air India, Wizz Air suspend service to Israel until May 6, and United until May 8; others, including Air France and Delta, cancel Sunday flights
