Yak-Angler is correct. It is really nice to take your time. Stop along the way to see the flowing water and bridges. We saw a 3 foot tall blue heron in the river along the way. If you take some cash there are opportunities to feed the fish - Look for the sign. There is also a cafe half way to Damascus - quick bite - burgers and drinks as my sister stopped and said it was yummy. Again watch for signs. The half mile walk back to the left to the angler platforms was nice too. Take a bike lock as bikes are not permitted on this section. It was nice just to get off the bike and walk for a while. Enjoy!
