Smalls is run well. Great Quality set. Get in early to get the best seats or get a seat at the bar. We saw a 1 hr set. It started and ended on time. Really good music!Full review by Nouvelle C

Brilliant, intimate venue with top notch performances. Great cocktails & atmosphere. We booked the 6pm show and stayed on for the 7.30pm (payable). Highlight of our trip to New York.Full review by JHill165

Yes. This is an adult oriented bar/jazz club with a full bar. I agree with the previous reviewer’s assessment. On the other hand, for teens who are really into jazz and accompanied by an adult, this would be a spectacular place to visit as it is THE quintessential small jazz club.
There's a $20 cash "cover". I imagine there is a drink minimum but we sat at the bar so it never came up. Highly recommend for the ambiance & talent. Enjoy!
