Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum & Candy Emporium is central Pennsylvania’s most unique attraction located near Gettysburg. Family owned since 1975, Isaac and Nicole Bucher became the third generation owners in July 2014, purchasing the business from grandparents and Mister Ed’s founders Ed and Pat Gotwalt. Mister Ed’s boasts more than 1,200 kinds of candy, fresh roasted jumbo peanuts, homemade fudge and unique gifts, in addition to a collection of 25,000 elephants at its headquarters and in the Al Ringling Mansion in Baraboo, Wis. In 2018, Miss Pat’s Teapot Museum opened on the store’s grounds, with a collection of more than 200 teapots. More than 150,000 people visit annually.
