Yes. You can also get a museum card from a tourist office that gives entrance to this and other museums.

Can we go without tour?
A:
Yes, not sure that there was a tour. We walked from the U-bahn Sophie Charlotten Platz. Around 10 minutes, bus if you can find it is probably easier.
